Childhood cancer survivor. That's the good news. Bad news? Chemo and radiation zapped my eggs leaving me infertile. Egg donors were found, several attempts were made and finally we were blessed with beautiful twin girls - born too early (21 wks, 5 days on Dec. 5, 2008). Hang out with me while we savor life with Big Baby Boy, who arrived via gestational surrogate on March 25, 2013.

Old Habits Dye Hard
I woke up this morning from a bad dream to a splitting headache, a huge zit forming on my right cheek and later, a dizzy spell that made me want to puke. Thank you, lupron.
Needless to say, I was feeling neither attractive nor functional. Useless. To myself and others. What could I do to get myself out of this nasty funk? I knew. Oh, I knew.
I broke open the bottle.
Oh no she di'nt.
Oh yes, she did.
And now my hair is a lovely dark chestnut brown for the holidays. Ms. Clairol, you saved the day, like you always do.

You crack me up.
And inspire me...it's about my turn, and chestnut brown sounds so very chocolate-y.
A photo, perhaps?
Hey, I'd love to see your new hair, it sounds beyootiful. We're in our hotel in Chicago, on the 26th floor, watching the snow and drinking room-service coffee. Having a lovely time so far. See you soon,
hair dye can be truly fabulous.
I guess it is a good thing that I have an appointment for a hair cut and color for Thursday since it looks like I will be starting Lupron tomorrow night!
My natural color is dark brown and I have been dark-brown/red for a while now. Maybe you are inspiring me to change the color again!
