Still Here

Still here. Still chilling. Still waiting for that Maybe Baby. And doing those other daily things like, you know, living.

Stripe test and ultrasound are Monday. If all goes well, hysteroscopy and endometrial biopsy are June 3rd.

See how excited I am.

I can sense the excitement.

This is the nice thing about Google Reader--you can know when someone decides to post again.

Well hi there. Yes, I know. In the midst of other things, I've been a little remiss about posting here. I guess its because I feel like I'm in such a holding pattern with this aspect of my life.

I didn't mean to be so dry - I actually am looking forward to the testing to be over and moving forward - in whichever direction that may be.

I just had a hysteroscopy and a laproscopy. It wasn't too bad (mostly because you're totally knocked out) and it took me about 3 days to feel like myself again and 7 days for the bleeding to stop. The good part was finding out exactly what was going on down there. In a world of unexplained out of control things, it was nice to control this tiny thing. Of course that doesn't stop me from having "unexplained infertility", lol.

Trace, thanks so much for your perspective. This actually helps me plan ahead and prepare myself. I really appreciate it.

I have asked my RE to guarantee that they will knock me out (as opposed to just a local anesthetic and some valium. Hopefully, they are taking me seriously.

And I so agree. I am looking forward to knowing more - I just wish that ths would have been done before our fresh cycle, when chances of success were so much higher.

Good to hear from you again. This is a good time of year to kick back and enjoy the other aspects of your life, IMHO.

I will be looking forward to other updates.

Good to hear from you. I guess I should add your other feed to my Reader, huh?

Good luck with the surgery.
