Gosh, I guess I am an Omnivore.

Found this on The Idle Mind of Beth and thought it might be fun. Especially since I put more in my mouth than I ought to (ask me about my near death experience after ingesting dairy products in Peru). My brief stint with morning sickness was fascinating to hubby, who had just assumed I had guts of steel. So let's just see how I rate here...

Here’s what you do:

1) Copy this list into your blog or journal, including these instructions.
2) Bold all the items you’ve eaten.
3) Cross out any items that you would never consider eating. (I can't figure out how to strikethrough in blogger so I'll just mark them red)

First time visitor.
Oh, I love black pudding, also known as blood sausage! It's Christmas food in Estonia :)! It tastes so good with lingonberry or cranberry jam.

@ lennuk - hello! I know its a delicacy in so many parts of the world and believe me, I am down with almost ANY type of sausage, but I just can't get my mind round this one.

Now, lingonberry jam I can totally do.

Not a good post to read while dealing w/ morning-afternoon-evening sickness. I might have to come back to it...

Haggis isn't as bad as you think -- when we had it, it looked like a sausage patty, like on an Egg McMuffin. The texture was the same as a regular sausage patty as well. It didn't have a very strong taste, strangely enough. It was not at all gross. But it wasn't something I'd go out of my way to eat.

Head cheese is also on my "not in a million years" list. As is anything with brains in it (no good can come of that).

Remember when I refused to eat chicken with gravy on waffles at your house when we were little tykes? I am much less picky now. :P
